An Enneagram type 7 is one of nine personality types. It is commonly called the enthusiast or epicure. Type 7 is focused on pursuing interesting possibilities while avoiding pain and limitations upon those pursuits.

Enneagram type 7 can struggle with avoiding comittments/obligations that feel limiting and constrictive as well as addictive pleasure-seeking to escape pain or discomfort.

Enneagram type 7 pursues what's exciting and interesting and avoids having any limitations put on that. They get angry when people try to put limitations on their pursuits or close off any escape routes from pain and discomfort.
