An Enneagram type 3 is one of nine personality types. It is commonly called the performer or achiever. Type 3 is focused on finding value and positive regard through accomplishment and recognition in the eyes of others.

Enneagram type 3 can struggle with knowing their true self outside of the image they present to others as well as the pursuit of success to the exclusion of all else.

Enneagram type 3 sets goals and takes on challenges that prove their value. They get angry with others who get in the way of accomplishing those goals or tarnish the image their trying to present to their intended audience.
